Lallemand Bio-Ingredients is seeking a Technical Sales / Product Manager for the USA savory market. The product portfolio includes Inactive Torula and Brewer’s yeast as well as Yeast Extracts and specific savory blends. This position plays a key role on the Americas and global Lallemand Bo-Ingredients savory team.
The critical responsibilities includes the management of our USA distributor network and specific key accounts. This includes the introduction of new products and applications as well as support to our existing product range. An important responsibility is training distributor representatives on our products and use in application. Collaboration with key Lallemand colleagues (business and R&D) to develop new applications and sales is of high importance.
Product Management especially for our Torula line of products requires close collaboration with our Global Savory Product Manager located in Europe. Product planning and product marketing throughout the product lifecycle is required. Setting the product strategy and roadmap are key elements of the role. Responsibilities include the development and preparation of marketing and advertising materials specifically directed to the markets in the Americas.
Ideally the candidate will have at least 3-5 years of related experience. An advanced degree in an associated discipline is also a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills are a requirement as are proficient computer skills. Maintenance and input into our information systems is also a necessity. Familiarity with Unix, CRM and Lewis would be helpful. Extensive travel throughout North America is necessary as well as a few trips annually to other regions
