The Manager, US CI Product Optimization, will provide a critical leadership role contributing to the successful oversight of the US Supply Chain multi-year product and process continuous improvement strategic plan and portfolio development. He/She is accountable for managing projects and providing leadership to a group of technical professionals that will lead to the successful identification, validation, and appropriate transfer of existing or new technologies into manufacturing operations for continuous quality and cost improvements on new/existing brands and manufacturing processes to deliver $5M - $8M in annual savings.
The Manager also provides strong leadership to influence teams in the execution of product and process improvements, strategic business continuity and capacity initiatives across the North American Supply Chain, with a special focus on ingredient, formula, operations, and process improvements.
The manager maintains a strong cooperative working relationship with Marketing, Commodities Procurement, Quality and Regulatory Compliance, Legal, R&D, Manufacturing, and Operations Business Integration to conduct technical and economic feasibility studies in support of the identification, development, and implementation of regional strategic ingredient, product, process and operations initiatives.

Working knowledge of Food Chemistry, Confectionery/Chocolate Technology, Confectionery Manufacturing Processes, Product and Process Optimization, Lean Manufacturing Principles
Recognized Subject Matter Expert in a minimum of one confectionery process and product technology.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects covering multiple manufacturing locations
Ability to establish priorities and execute multifunctional strategic project objectives
Advanced problem solving and evaluation capabilities
Familiarty with Lean/Six Sigma concepts, TPM.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
