In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth in the food service channel for our Alternative Proteins business (one of ICL’s key growth pillars) and developing the North American opportunities that help to strengthen and significantly expand our business. You will work closely with our Global Alternative Proteins Leader, the alternative proteins application team, as well as the rest of the alternative proteins sales team, to continue building momentum for our business through new opportunities in the food service value chain.

As a Sales Manager, you will be focused on the growth of the NA Alternative Proteins Market in the food service channel. You will lead and demonstrate targeted sales growth. You will also understand customer, market and competitor trends to deliver sales growth within the alternative proteins market.
Responsible for building and targeting alternative proteins lead list in the food service channel
Responsible for delivering alternative proteins sales revenue goal
Presentations to top alternative proteins food service customer targets
Manage 3-5 alternative proteins accounts
Manage growth opportunities and development of alternative proteins customer projects at lead food service accounts
Define product opportunities for food service in alternative proteins
Track and support opportunities and targets
Assist application development by providing target project list, support requirements and timeline with review and support of the R&D team
Target account pipeline tracking
Communicate progress on opportunity pipeline to Global Alternative Proteins Leader
Assist with trade shows and trade communications
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent amount of education and experience required
A minimum of 10 years food ingredient experience in sales or related field selling into the North American food service channel.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including dispute resolution
Demonstrated exceptional business acumen including financial analysis
Highly developed communication skills appropriate for all business situations
Demonstrated skills in negotiating in difficult and complex situations
Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
Demonstrated skills in team-based decision making
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills; strong personal presence both with customers and internally
Willing to travel domestically up to 50%
