Famer-to-Farmer Ghana: ToT on Value-Added Processing and Packaging of Organic Sausages and Hotdogs
Winrock International requests the support of a Ghanaian, national Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer and an American (remote) Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer for a 14 day volunteer assignment located in Accra, the Greater-Accra region of Ghana. The volunteers will work together to train members of Participatory Guarantee System Ghana (PGS Ghana) on value added processing and packaging of organic sausages and hotdogs. The participants will in turn train their group members after the volunteer assignment. PGS Ghana members produce organic pigs and poultry on a commercial basis and currently slaughter the animals for sale on the local market and for household consumption.
