  Overview Of Position This position is responsible for the regulatory aspects related to product development and launching. The individual is responsible for researching claims and product labeling requirements and making recommendations for meaningful marketing claims that can be made on specific products and materials. The Regulatory and Labeling Specialist is also responsible for reviewing and ensuring accuracy of product packaging. This position provides direction for international food regulatory requirements necessary to import products into other countries; in addition, it keeps up to date and maintains product certification, regulatory databases for packaging and raw materials.
