We are looking to hire an outgoing person as our Southern Regional Manager to engage with a wide variety of clients who are doing really interesting work.
Texture Technologies Corp sells texture measurement instruments, software, and consulting services. Our clients are throughout the food, pharmaceutical, adhesive, gel, electronics, cosmetic, personal care and other industries.
As our Southern Regional Manager you will develop relationships with existing and new clients and will support their technical and application requirements. You will be responsible for demonstrating our instrument and software; testing products for clients; training customers on the use and possibilities of the TA.XTPlus family of instruments & software; conducting installations & training services at client locations; attending national and territory trade shows; following up with contacts and leads to pursue sales opportunities; and contacting TTC clients & prospects to initiate new opportunities.
You will do all of this working remotely from a home office. Zoom meetings have reduced travel requirements, however, you should still expect several periods each year where travel could be significant.
Texture Technologies will provide extensive training and offers a competitive salary with an attractive commission schedule, all expenses, and offers a profit-sharing plan.
We expect that you will: be self-motivated; have excellent written and oral communication skills; have extensive sales experience; demonstrate creative problem-solving capabilities; and have strong multi-tasking skills. Five years of sales experience is essential. An aptitude to master physical testing is critical and some laboratory experience would be helpful. Also required are: a minimum of a BA/BS degree; computer competency with a variety of programs; a valid current driver’s license; Covid-19 vaccination and boosters. The position has many physical demands including moving and repositioning instruments in and out of cars and traveling with an instrument case that weighs approximately 65 pounds, plus other fixtures.
