Assistant Professor in Food Chemistry – Tenure-Track
The Department of Food Science prepares our students for jobs in the food industry, government, and academia. Our graduates are highly sought after for their understanding of the basic principles of biology, chemistry and engineering as applied to food. We seek a scholar in Food Chemistry with expertise in carbohydrate, protein, lipid, or flavor chemistry. This tenure-track faculty hire will complement existing departmental chemistry expertise in analytical chemistry, lipid chemistry, nutraceuticals, and flavor chemistry. This hire should also complement existing departmental expertise in food biology and food engineering. A faculty hire in this area is core to the mission of the department and the food science
