Volunteer Opportunity: Training on Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Preservation in Guinea
Winrock International seeks a Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer for a 17-day assignment (including travel) to Macenta-Forest, Guinea. The volunteer will train NAKROKONI (Women’s Horticulture Cooperative of Macenta) on fruit and vegetable processing techniques, including ginger juice, pineapple juice, and mango juice, among others. The focus will be on maintaining flavor, using natural methods, and ensuring food safety. Tasks: Train technical staff and members of NAKROKONI on fruit and vegetable processing and preservation techniques. Demonstrate methods for maintaining flavor and using natural methods in processing. Ensure food safety and hygienic practices are followed. Provide training on producing and preserving various product
