Products/Markets: Natural preservation ingredients sold to food and nutrition manufacturers
Responsibilities: · Develop and manage an individual sales budget to meet or exceed agreed-upon goals · Develop and implement a pricing strategy at customer accounts · Participate in key decision-making business meetings (both internally and externally) · Build, manage, and optimize an account list as the company evolves and grows: Manage, develop, and support accounts that hold strategic opportunity · Will lead technical discussions, assist customers with troubleshooting, manage customer projects, etc. · Reports to U.S.-based Sales Director

Requirements: · 5+ years of industry-related experience (food and beverage) · Experience selling functional ingredients on a B2B basis is preferred. · A proven track record of developing relationships and driving sales is ideal. · Technical experience or science-based degree preferred. · Experience managing an opportunity pipeline, using a system/metrics, should be milestone driven, etc. · Should have a dynamic, “self-starter” mentality, as this role will require managing existing accounts, as well as seeking out prospective new customers. · Experience with CRM is a plus.
Location/Territory/Travel: · Home-office based, located anywhere near a major U.S. airport. · Travel will be 20 - 40%, once onboarded. It could be more in the first few months, then should settle in.
