TheDepartment of Family & Consumer Sciences at New Mexico State University is seeking to fill a 12 month, non-tenure track Assistant Professor/Director, Didactic Program in Dietetics position. The individual in the position will be responsible for the development of policies and procedures for effectively managing all components of the program and to ensure fair, equitable and considerate treatment of prospective and enrolled students (such as program admission, retention and completion policies); teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Human Nutrition & Dietetic Science (HNDS) program; recruit, advise, mentor, evaluate, and provide academic/career counseling to undergraduate students.

Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Nutritional Science or related field. Possess current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the United States. Must have a minimum of 3 years professional work experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and/or Didactic Program Director.
