Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development with a targeted, entrepreneurial approach.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consultative selling.
- Conduct regular prospecting and cold outreach.
- Leverage distributor networks, trade shows, and marketing leads.
- Develop and manage strategic customer relationships, including top-to-top engagement.
- Create and execute account plans to drive growth.
- Use CRM tools to manage the sales funnel and close deals.
- Analyze performance and adjust strategies to meet goals.
- 5+ years of food ingredient sales; college degree in a scientific areas with food science or chemistry preferred, advanced degree a plus.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and developing key accounts.
- Deep understanding of food industry channels, brands, and retailers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- A genuine passion for the food nutrition business.
