Education & Experience - Undergraduate degree in dairy science, food science, biology, or related field
- Master’s degree in dairy science a plus
- 5 years of relevant dairy industry laboratory/technical experience
- Regulatory experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Highly organized, able to handle multiple concurrent projects, self-motivated, able to operate effectively in a collaborative environment, and under time constraints
- Ability to interpret and analyze scientific/technical information related to dairy science
- Excellent English language skills including writing, editing, and proof-reading skills.
- Expertise in identifying, developing, and using project management strategies and tools
- Proficiency in the rationale for, and how to implement, open science best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with partners
- Strong communication skills, in both written and verbal formats, and including under time pressure
- Experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Very detail-oriented; team player
